Here is my sixth question.
Hi, guys. Have you ever thought of true happiness? What is real happiness in life? Do you feel happy now? Why? I've been to some countries for sightseeing or personal activities. Some people in rich countries looked busy and unhappy, while people in some poor counties looked shabby, but self-contented. What do you think makes you happy? Could you share your tips for happiness with me? I must be a fool to ask you..."Someone who is always thinking about happiness is a fool. A wise person thinks about death."(Ecclesiates 5:4))

Hi, Yanni!

Well... True happiness... Wow, that's the tough one. I think happiness doesn't last long. If I think I'm happy, then certain unpleasant thing might happen, and screw up my happy feeling. And then it comes to us again. It's a kind of circulation.
I think we can't be happy if we expect too much. In my case, I easily become happy with just a little and ordinary thing like when I get my lost pen back.

Hi Yanny,

As Lucy said, all human beings always can't be in a happy feeling.
We always have our ups and downs.
But if we don't feel we are unhappy, we can say we are really happy persons, I think.

Hi Yanni,
I think the true happiness comes from health. Before I have health problems, I tend to put money or family first. Now health is the most important thing in my life. Even a minor health problem makes me depressed, so I really want to be healthy.

Honestly I don't think about the question that often. Am I happy? Or Am I unhappy? If you live a life with sincerity and passion even without thinking 'happiness', I think it is a happiness. When people live their life puting priority on the thing that they think is very important at the moment and have accomplishment, I think it is happiness.

No one can tell you whether you are feeling good or bad, because you are the only one who knows how you're geeling at any time.

It is impossible to feel good and at the same time be having negative thoughts.

If you are feeling good, it is because you are thinking good thoughts.

You deserve all good things life has to offer.

The true meaning of happiness

One clear and warm fall night,
holding hands, my wife and I
went out for a stroll

As we were watching the far away,
mysterious foot of the mountain,
we prayed for our long lasting happiness.

I lost my house because of my business failure
during the IMF crisis. However, I could
go through all those hardships
because I had my family who supported me.

I used to think that I had to earn
a lot of money to become happier.
But now when I think back,
I regret my former attitude.
Why did I think that way?

Even though I'm living in a monthly paid
4th floor residence, now I realize
what real happiness is.
Money and happiness are incomparable.
Having someone to share the hardships and
joy of life together - that's true happiness.
